About Us
Our Story
Nestled in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, Hills & Valleys Ranch is a first-generation family homestead built on faith, hard work, and a deep love for the land. We are a veteran family who traded the noise of the world for the quiet rhythms of ranch life: raising goats, tending gardens, and learning the old ways of making things by hand.
What started as a desire to know exactly what was going into the products we put on our skin grew into something we couldn't keep to ourselves. Today, we handcraft small-batch natural soaps, bath products, candles, and infused oils; made with the same care and intention we bring to everything on this ranch.
Our Ingredients & Sourcing
We believe what goes into a product matters just as much as what it does. That's why every batch starts with ingredients we trust:
- Fresh Goat Milk — sourced right here from our own herd. Rich in vitamins and naturally gentle, goat milk is the heart of many of our skin-nourishing products.
- Wild-Foraged Herbs — gathered from the Colorado mountains and surrounding land, chosen for their natural properties and harvested with respect for the ecosystem.
- Pure Essential Oils — carefully selected for quality and purpose, never synthetic fragrances.
- Simple, Honest Ingredients — no fillers, no harsh chemicals, nothing we wouldn't use on our own family.
Our Small-Batch Process
Every product that leaves our ranch is made in small batches; by hand, with intention. Small-batch crafting means we can give each product the attention it deserves, maintain consistent quality, and never sacrifice care for the sake of speed.
We mix, pour, cure, and package everything ourselves. When you hold one of our products, you're holding something a real person made with real hands on a real ranch in Colorado.
Our Values
We are guided by faith, family, and a commitment to sustainable living. We believe in:
- Transparency — honest ingredients, honest labels, honest prices.
- Sustainability — caring for the land that provides for us, minimizing waste, and choosing natural over synthetic whenever possible.
- Community — supporting fellow small makers, veterans, and families working to build something of their own.
- Quality over Quantity — we'd rather make fewer products and make them right.
Thank you for being here. Whether you found us through a friend, a market, or a late-night search for something real; we're glad you did. Every purchase supports our family and this little ranch we're building one batch at a time.
